The news comes as Jackson and Alaina both prepare for Wednesday’s 51st Annual CMA Awards in Nashville. As a nominee for New Artist of the Year she will perform on the show, and the country icon will also take the stage in what promises to be a very special performance.
Georgia native Lauren Alaina captured America’s hearts when she appeared on Season 10 of American Idol. Earlier this year, she followed up her #1 debut album with the release of the eagerly-awaited, Road Less Traveled, which features her first chart-topping hit and title track, “Road Less Traveled.”
