LEXINGTON, Ky. (June 11, 2018) – Two of the bluegrass state’s most prized treasures—music and food—take center stage on Saturday, June 16 at Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill in Harrodsburg for Well Crafted – Brews + Bands. The festival, celebrating its fifth annual gathering in 2018, celebrates the quality and diversity of Kentucky’s music and craft beer cultures by bringing together a flavorful mix of regional craft breweries with local musicians.
Leading a tantalizing musical lineup are Magnolia Boulevard and Joslyn & The Sweet Compression. Aside from Tyler Childers, these two up-and-coming Lexington bands are currently producing some of the hottest music in the commonwealth, led by the captivating vocals of Maggie Noelle and Josyln Hampton, respectively. Magnolia Boulevard, who return to the bluegrass after setting the stage ablaze in Maryland last weekend at Experience PRS, blaze a path meandering psychedelic and blues rock while Joslyn & The Sweet Compression follow the ebbs and flows of soul and R&B while also mixing in a funky flare.
Joining the two aforementioned acts are several artists rooted in the veins of old-time, Appalachian, country and Americana including sassy eastern Kentucky duo The Local Honeys, Chelsea Nolan, Great Peacock, Grayson Jenkins, Monroe Land Way, Kristofer Lee and The Revival; and David “Chill” Napier (of Driftwood Gypsy). View a full music schedule below.
A variety of food vendors will be on site for the event as well including Bella Notte, Misfit Commissary, Roll ‘n’ Smoke, Salsarita’s, Smoky and the Brisket, Bluegrass Kettle Masters and Kona Ice of the Bluegrass.
Gates open for Well Crafted on June 16 at noon. Tickets are $25 and include musical entertainment on two stages, access to food vendors in the festival field and admission to Shaker Village. For more information and to purchase tickets visit wellcraftedky.com.
