LEXINGTON, Ky. (July 30, 2018) – This morning host Matt Wickstrom was joined by Jared Hamilton and Emily Miller of Dr. Hamilton’s Remedy, Brad Fowble and Brandon Hurley of Octalux for the 30th installment of Wick’s Picks on Lexington Community Radio.

Dr. Hamilton’s Remedy was first on the show from 9-9:40 a.m. The group discussed their musical journeys, influences, meeting and forming of the group, Supermoon Music & Arts Festival, new music on the horizon and more along with performing two original tunes live in studio.

Following Dr. Hamilton’s Remedy was singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and local music advocate Brad Fowble. Fowble discussed how he got his start in music as a boy in Dayton, Oh., his short stint in the military and how it’s affected his music, current projects and more in addition to picking a couple of songs live.

Rounding out the show was Brandon Hurley of rock punk outfit Octalux. Hurley and Wickstrom discussed musical influences, life lessons, the band’s new EP Noize in the Blood and more. Listen to an archive of this morning’s show below.
