Wynn Taylor brings the #Stop22Tour to Red Barn Radio and Common’s Crossing

By Matt Wickstrom

LEXINGTON, Ky. (August 11, 2018) – Kicking of Red Barn Radio’s 17th broadcast season was Lexingtonian Wynn Taylor and Stop 22 on August 1 at The Performance Hall at Arts Place.

Taylor is a singer, a songwriter and a traveling troubadour.  A proud veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm, he performs with other combat vets as a member of the Nashville based (hashtag) Stop 22 Tour.

Stephen Cochran and fellow Marines Daniel Dean and Tyler Jay formed and began touring in support of their not for profit hashtag Stop 22 Tour, using their songs to help others understand veterans better.

Joining Taylor and Cochran on the Red Barn stage were Micah Howard, Daniel Broadrick and Bobby Sudekum. Listen to an archive of their Red Barn Radio performance, featuring interview segments with co-host Matt Wickstrom, below.

Later in the week on August 4, Taylor and the Stop 22 crew again joined Wickstrom for Common’s Crossing, a new and free summer concert series held on the lawn of the new WUKY studios. Listen to an archive of that performance below.
