LEXINGTON, Ky. — This week members from two Lexington rock bands joined Matt Wickstrom for a spooky Halloween edition of Wick’s Picks on Lexington Community Radio.
First behind the microphone was Tab Caudill, Nolan Mason and Billy Duncan of grunge rock outfit Massive Cult. The trio discussed the group’s recent formation, rapport with one another through CHURCH&STATES, Bad People and other previous projects, Carolina reaper peppers and much more. The group also performed two original songs live in studio and previewed “Indian Mound,” another fully mixed track featuring the entire band including Caudill on vocals, Mason on guitar, Duncan on guitar and drummer Andrew Beauvier and bassist Andrew Hibpshman.
Following Massive Cult was psych rock group Much Obliged. Comprised of Michael Clark on vocals, Daniel Lay on guitar, Max Galbraith on guitar, Jeffrey Alford on drums and Lincoln Teachey (not present), the group discussed their formation, influences, 2017 project Paradise and more in addition to the group also performed three songs in studio.
