MANCHESTER, Ky. — Turnpike Troubadours, Deana Carter and Ward Davis are slated to headline the 2019 Manchester Music Festival, to be held on Labor Day weekend—Aug. 29 to 31—in downtown Manchester, Ky. All was revealed on Jan. 17 with a reveal at Pat’s Snack Bar in Manchester. The event is free admission and is sponsored by the Manchester Tourism Commission.

Rounding out the lineup are Cody Canada & The Departed; comedic bluegrassers The Cleverlys, Whiskey Bent Valley Boys, Mountain Heart, Bourbon Branch, Whiskey River, Waylon Nelson, Jonathan New, Jericho Woods, Tanner Horton and Allen Thacker; Chris Minton, Alice Blue Gown, Lauren Beeler and Derek Isaacs.
The festival will hold a pre-party in conjunction with Piketon, Ohio, bluegrass festival SamJam, on Feb. 23 at The Burl in Lexington featuring performances from Tanner Horton and Allen Hacker; Bourbon Branch, Whiskey Bent Valley Boys, Jericho Woods and Hogslop String Band.
Manchester Music Festival is organized by a committee that includes Tim Parks, president; James Collins, vice president; Connie Downey, treasurer; Jessalynn Bowman, secretary; Kenneth Bolin, Board of Directors; Charles Weaver, Board of Directors; Paul Duram, member; Shawn Feltner, member; and Logan Gray, member.
