LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Bendigo Fletcher on Friday released “No Smoke,” the first track from their upcoming EP “Terminally Wild.”

Lead singer Ryan Anderson dazzles yet again on the song with his easy-going, poetic lyrics backed by dreamy, old school folk rock soundscape. Anderson even fits in a reference to 2015 award-winning video game “The Witcher III: Wild Hunt,” which the band joked is “the first BF song to reference a video game” in a Facebook post.

Lending his talents to the track on backing vocals, guitar and shaker was Nashville, Tennessee-based artist Rayland Baxter, who invited Bendigo Fletcher to join him on a handful of tour dates in late 2018. Additionally, Anderson recently joined Baxter for a couple of songs during the artist’s Jan. 24 performance at The Burl.

“No Smoke” was recorded at Thunder Sound Studio in Franklin, Ky. where it was engineered by the late Billy Swayze, who tragically died in an automobile accident on Jan. 19. The track was also mixed by Duane Lundy of Lexington-based Shangri-la Productions.
