FLOYD, Va. — Across-the-Way Productions has made the fifth lineup reveal for FloydFest 19 ~ Voyage Home headlined by the fourth iteration of the Buffalo Mountain Jam led by Keller Williams, Leftover Salmon, Trout Steak Revival, Caitlin Krisko, Erin Lunsford, Nora Jane Struthers and many others.
The Jam first began at FloydFest in 2016 as a replacement to headliner Gregg Allman, who canceled his performance at the last moment due to health issues. The Buffalo Mountain Jam manifested as a late replacement of Allman as a collaborative effort among the festival’s performers to celebrate the legacy of the Allman Brothers Band. Other new acts revealed for FloydFest include Elise Davis, Virginia Gentlemen, Pumphouse and a wave of Virginia-bred artists including Blue Mule, Churacabras, Dead Reckoning, Dharma Bombs, Gote, Jordan Harman, Morgan Wade & The Stepbrothers, Music Road Co, My Radio, Soulacoustix, The Floorboards, The Jam and The Wildman.
The remainder of the festival’s lineup is led by several newly minted Grammy winners including Kacey Musgraves (Best Country Album for “Golden Hour,” Best Country Song for “Space Cowboy,” Album of the Year for “Golden Hour,” and Best Country Solo Performance for “Butterflies”), Brandi Carlile (Best Americana Album for “By the Way, I Forgive You,” Best American Roots Song for “The Joke,” and Best American Roots Performance for “The Joke”) and Fantastic Negrito (Best Contemporary Blues Album for “Please Don’t Be Dead”).
Rounding out the lineup are The String Cheese Incident, Phil Lesh & The Terrapin Family Band, Tyler Childers, Margo Price, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, Hot Tuna (electric and acoustic), Keller Williams’ Grateful Grass featuring Love Canon, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, The Motet, Jade Bird, The War and Treaty, Kyle Hollingsworth Band, American Aquarium, DJ Williams’ Shots Fired, New Orleans’ Suspects, Acoustic Syndicate, Songs from the Road Band, The Saturators, Lillie Mae, Kaletta & Super Yamba Band, Becca Mancari, Trout Steak Revival, Jon Stickley Trio, The Wooks, Mountain Heart, Yarn, Front Country, Pert Near Sandstone, Old Salt Union, The Yawpers, Bella’s Bartok, Circus No. 9, Honeysuckle, The Broadcast, Erin & The Wildfire, Sean McConnell, L.A. Edwards, 2018 On the Rise winners Magnolia Boulevard and 2018 On the Rise runners up Travers’ Brothership.
