While Crave is first and foremost a food festival, it’s always been a priority of the festival to showcase a diverse array of local and regional music talent. Therefore, in addition to music the festival will have over 50 local food and restaurant vendors along with craft beer and cocktails, a classic car show, live food presentations, kid’s activities and more.

The final music performer reveal will roll out in mid-August along with a music schedule and full vendor list in the coming weeks.

“Crave started as unique and interactive way to celebrate Lexington’s culinary scene during a time where there weren’t really many local food-centric events,” said Saraya Brewer, Crave’s music and production director. “Food is still at the heart of the event — and always will be — but it has really evolved into a celebration of so many cultural aspects of Lexington, including music. It takes the concept of everyone gathering around in the kitchen at the party, and amplifies it into a field party format.”

Crave is produced by Smiley Pete Publishing, the folks behind the Chevy Chaser Magazine, Southsider Magazine and Business Lexington, tadoo.com and other community events that include Lexington Burger Week, Lexington Pizza Week, Crave Taco Week and Bluegrass BBQ Festival.
