FLOYD, Va. — Following their debut last summer atop the Blue Ridge Mountains the String Cheese Incident will return for FloydFest’s Vision Quest in 2020 for two nights along with a celebration of 40 years of The Talking Heads’ album Remain in Light led by Brooklyn funk collective Turkuaz and featuring Jerry Harrison of the Talking Heads and Adrian Belew of King Crimson.

Other new additions in the festival’s second wave of artist announcements include polyethnic-cajun-slamgrass-masters Leftover Salmon, Grammy-nominated outlaw country singer-songwriter Brent Cobb and reggae-originators Toots and the Maytals.

The newly-minted FloydFest artists join Grace Potter, Andy Frasco & The U.N., 2019 On-the-Rise winners Downtown Abbey & The Echoes and 2019 On-the-Rise runners-up Mason Via & Hot Trail Mix.

Several more artist announcements are planned to roll out in the coming weeks according to FloydFest organizers, with the next set of artists to be revealed on Dec. 3. For more information visit FloydFest.com.
