Marking Bibelhauser’s official debut with the band, Cosmic Charlie’s in Lexington will play host to The Wooks Dec. 30th and 31st, 2017 as they ring in the new year playing their well-loved material, as well as an electrified set featuring an all-star cast of musicians.

Music connoisseurs of all ages packed the Green Lantern on Thursday night, moving and grooving to the signature Kentucky bluegrass of The Wooks. The show was the quintet’s debut at the rustic bar on Lexington’s north side, and the second for banjo player Arthur Hancock, who was sidelined with back injuries for the later half of 2015.
Thursday night local bluegrass quintet The Wooks will bring their home-brewed blend of mountain music to The Green Lantern — the group’s first visit to the bar that’s been a mainstay in Lexington for over 60 years.
