Kentucky’s music tourism sector grows stronger as promoters up their game
The Master Musicians Festival has revealed the daily schedules for it’s 25th celebration, to be held on the campus of Somerset Community College on July 13 and 14.

The Master Musicians Festival will celebrate 25 years of bringing musical excellence to rural Kentucky July 13-14 with performances from John Prine, Amanda Shires, JD McPherson and a slew of local Kentucky artists.
Since 1994 the Master Musicians Festival has brought marquee names to Somerset and the Lake Cumberland region including The Avett Brothers, Old Crow Medicine Show and Willie Nelson. This weekend’s 24th annual gathering boasted fan favorites Colter Wall, Old 97’s, Dawes and Blackberry Smoke on stage at Festival Field at Somerset Community College.
