ROMP Fest Review: June 22-25, 2016

The heat was persistent throughout the weekend at the 13th annual ROMP festival in Owensboro, Kentucky with temperatures firmly cemented in the 90s, but even more persistent were the musicians and fans who battled vigorously throughout each day to spread the love and joy of music and community that you can only find in a festival environment.

Feet stompin’, string playin’ Old Crow Medicine Show shine in Singletary Center

Old Crow Medicine Show returned to the Bluegrass on Wednesday night, marking their first trip to Lexington in over a decade for the first of their two-night run at UK’s Singletary Center for the Arts. The visit to central Kentucky also marked the start of their spring tour. The six-piece outfit from down the road in Nashville was supported by rising 23-year-old phenom Parker Millsap.
