Rooster Walk has finalized the lineup for it’s 10th annual gathering, nearly doubling it’s musical lineup with additions led by The Dustbowl Revival, Town Mountain, The Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band and a special collaboration between Marcus King and Billy Strings dubbed ‘Kings & Strings.’
The complete lineup for MerleFest 2018 will be announced over the next few months; today, MerleFest ‘s first lineup announcement includes legendary artist Kris Kristofferson, Jamey Johnson, Robert Earl Keen, The Devil Makes Three and many more.
Saturday at Festival of the Bluegrass featured arguably the 44th annual gathering’s most diverse lineup, musically speaking, with equal amounts of traditional and progressive bluegrass from bands such as The Grascals, The Wooks, Seldom Scene and Town Mountain amplified into the sea of attendees in lawn chairs.

Fans of traditional, old-timey and progressive bluegrass all had something to be happy about Saturday at the 43rd Festival of the Bluegrass at the Kentucky Horse Park.
The festival’s closing day served up an eclectic blend of bluegrass that included Restless Leg String Band, The 23 String Band, Town Mountain and others.
